You can play without signing up, and we set no cookies. We use no advertising or third-party analytics services, so nobody else is watching you play.

Your scores, which games you have played and your chosen theme stay in your browser's local storage, on your device. The same goes for a random id we generate to count players, which is not linked to your name, your email or your IP address. Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and your scores with it.

• Game events. When a game is started, a match is finished, a score is shared or the menu is opened, tagged with that random id, so we can see which matches are too hard and whether people come back.
• Suggestions. Whatever you type into the suggestion box, plus the same random id.
• Lobbies. If you choose to challenge your friends, we store the first name you type, your score and the link's code, so everyone playing that link sees the same table. Sharing a score without a lobby stores nothing extra. Use any name you like: it is shown to whoever has the link.

Our legal basis is legitimate interest: running the game and making it better. We keep this data for up to 24 months, then delete it.

The site runs on Vercel and the data sits in a Supabase database hosted in the European Union. Both act as processors on our instructions. Their server logs, which include IP addresses, exist for security and are short-lived. We sell nothing to anyone.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Everything is tied to the random id in your browser rather than to you, so send us that id with your request: it is at the bottom of the menu, under Start over (the eight characters shown there are enough). You can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Scoreback is a football quiz with no chat and no personal profiles, but it is not aimed at children under 14. If a child has sent us a name or a suggestion, write to us and we will remove it.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
